The California Occupational Safety and Health Standards Board passed an emergency temporary standard in July 2019 to protect California workers from wildfire smoke. This webinar will review employer responsibilities, and discuss how best to be prepared for wildfire season.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Review employer responsibilities to protect employees from wildfire smoke exposure.

  • Become familiar with the Air Quality Index for 2.5 particulate matter due to wildfire smoke.

  • Discuss components of Appendix B.

  • Recognize farmworker's concerns and training needs to protect from wildfire smoke exposure.
