We’re Growing! Join the COEH Continuing Education Instructor Pool

Are you looking for a fulfilling opportunity to share your expertise and mentor the next generation of occupational and environmental health and safety professionals?

COEH Continuing Education is seeking experienced practitioners in the fields of ergonomics, industrial hygiene, occupational safety, and allied health to join our dynamic team of instructors. As a member of the instructor pool, you will have the opportunity to teach courses, provide mentorship, and speak at events and webinars to a diverse group of learners.

We welcome applications from individuals with a variety of backgrounds, including those with experience in private industry, government, non-profit, and academic settings. Successful candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for promoting health and safety in the workplace.

What is the COEH CE Instructor Pool?

Our instructor pool is a group of qualified candidates who are interested in mentoring, short-term, and long-term teaching engagements. Individuals may be employed on a contractual or per-course basis, offered honoraria for specific speaking engagements, and/or contacted regarding volunteer opportunities. Instructor pools provide an opportunity to bring in industry experts and practitioners to share their knowledge and expertise, particularly when additional instructors are needed to meet demand.

How does it work?

When instructors, course speakers, and/or mentors are needed, COEH CE will review instructor pool applicants for matching content expertise and interest. Potential instructors will be contacted regarding specific activities (including activity duration, dates, payment structure, requirements, etc.). Instructors can either accept or decline the opportunity based on their availability and interest.
