San Joaquin Valley Pollution and Health Environmental Research Study (SPHERE)

About

SPHERE is a collaborative study of air pollution exposures in parents and children living in two San Joaquin Valley communities (Stockton and Fresno). These communities are highly impacted by air pollution, and are also burdened by economic, social, and health inequities. The study involves extensive indoor and outdoor air monitoring, collection of exposure questionnaire data and biomonitoring. The STEER student would assist with data collection and analyses, perform literature reviews and and assist with manuscript preparation as needed.
