During this webinar, Dr. Peters will present on the use of direct reading instruments to assess workplace exposures. He will discuss various methods to handle data, such as hazard mapping and analysis of time-series data. The presentation will blend education and literature review.

  • Compare methods of displaying data from direct reading instruments

  • Relate data from direct reading instruments to exposure management decisions



Tom Peters, PhD, CIH, is a professor in Occupational and Environmental Health and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa. He specializes in developing novel sampling methods that can be applied to understand and control aerosols in the workplace and the environment.
