Our Mission 

The Northern California Center of Occupational & Environmental Health at UC Berkeley serves industry, schools, health professionals, the general public, and government through programs and partnerships designed to deepen understanding of occupational and environmental hazards and to prevent disease, fatalities, and injuries.

Activities are grounded in multi-campus, multidisciplinary teaching programs in medicine, nursing, public health, and related fields which:

1. Educate future leaders in occupational and environmental health

2. Develop new knowledge

3. Bring the resources of the University of California to the public

• This fund provides resources including stipends for summer internships, conferences, and research projects for students focused on addressing the challenges of a changing workplace.

• Your gift supports future experts in a variety of specializations who are dedicated to ensuring that every employee can return home after work healthy and uninjured, as well as pledging that every Californian can live in a healthy environment.
