Instructor: Daphne Miller, MD

Daphne Miller, MD, is founder of Health from the Soil Up Initiative that seeks to catalyze collaboration and innovative thinking at the nexus of soil health and human health. She is a Clinical Professor at University of California San Francisco and a Project Scientist at the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at UC Berkeley. Dr. Miller's research explores ways to integrate human health and ecosystem health. She is an advisor and consultant to a number of organizations that address health and sustainability and is also a contributing health columnist to the Washington Post. Her books include Farmacology, Health from the Soil Up, and The Jungle Effect.
