About the webinar:

Since the beginning of the modern environmental movement, research scientists, policymakers, and activists alike continue to learn from past mistakes to advance environmental and human health protections. This presentation will review the most current themes in environmental health research, including a brief discussion of early air pollution & health research, and the influence this has had on modern environmental health research and policy. This presentation will then explore some of the most pressing research areas today, including environmental justice and climate change. We will emphasize not only current findings, but also explore challenges and future directions needed to create a healthier, safer, and more sustainable environment.
