This year, COEH and HFES Nor Cal will team up with the UC Ergonomics Research & Graduate Training Program to deliver a 3-day workshop on July 10-12, 2019. The Summer Learning Lab for Applied HFE Methods will be based out of the Berkeley Global Campus where the UC Ergonomics Lab is located. Attendees represent different professional backgrounds such as Industrial Hygienists, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Safety personnel and Engineers and contribute to a rich inter professional learning environment. Our faculty for the workshop include Drs. Carisa Harris, Jim Potvin & Jay Kapellusch who will teach hands on practical skills including various exposure and risk assessment techniques. Additional faculty supporting the workshops include Alan Barr (Senior Engineer, UC Ergo Lab), Meg Honan, CPE and Melissa Afterman, CPE.
