Grad Students get Hands-on Experience at UC Ergonomics Lab

April 25, 2022

Led by Alan Barr, graduate students in the Spring semester PBHLTH 269 course used vibrometers for hands-on practice at the UC Ergonomics Research Lab at the Richmond Field Station. They measured the vibration associated with concrete drilling work then analyzed this exposure data to determine if the daily exposure is safe or if it exceeds the threshold limit values.
