Kristie Elton

Kristie is the Systemwide Healthcare Safety Director at the University of California, Office of the President.  She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management as well as a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional and provides management and direction for the university’s enterprise-wide risk and safety programs that impact the five UC Health Systems. Prior to this role, Kristie was the University of California Center of Excellence in Ergonomics.  In this role, Kristie led systemwide ergonomic initiatives & programs and provided consultation and leadership to academic campus and medical center ergonomics programs.  Kristie was also the Ergonomics Program Manager at the University of California, Riverside and the University of California, Office of the President. She is a licensed physical therapist, with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in physical therapy.  She is also a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist in Physical Therapy.
