About
This Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR) study will measure exposures to environmental chemicals amongst women nurses and office workers in San Francisco, as part of the Women Workers Biomonitoring Collaborative. The STEER intern will assist in scheduling visits with study participants, obtaining informed consent, collecting biomonitoring samples (silicone wristbands and urine), and administering exposure questionnaires. The intern will work with an interdisciplinary team of scientists and nurses to assist in the project, specifically implementing study protocols and doing data entry and management, and time permitting, contributing to preliminary data analyses.
