UCSF Virtual CME Conference begins on March 10, 2021

New Jobs, Novel Technologies, and Changing Hazards at Work and in the Environment and Updates in OEM

This virtual conference is presented by COEH’s Division of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (OEM) at the University of California, San Francisco and will take place March 10-13, 2021. This year’s topic is New Jobs, Novel Technologies, and Changing Hazards at Work and in the Environment and Updates in OEM.

The curriculum is designed for occupational and environmental health professionals. While occupational physicians and nurses, industrial hygienists, primary care providers, nursing professionals, and physician assistants will make up the bulk of the audience, policy makers and medical-legal practitioners will also benefit from the curriculum.

The conference will be offered in an interactive live stream format. Login instructions and the digital syllabus will be shared with attendees 1 week prior to the conference. Included in the registration fee is access to the course recordings on demand for 30 days after the conference.

Conference Schedule:

March 10: On the evening before day 1, there will be a virtual poster session from 6:30-8:30pm that will include case reports and research data to supplement the following conference material.

March 11: Day 1 will address the nature of changing jobs, the introduction of newer technology, and the emergence and re-emergence of a range of physical and chemical hazards.

March 12-13: Days 2 and 3 will cover multiple topics within Updates in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
