Academics

Graduates are prepared to identify health hazards in the work environment and propose appropriate control strategies; design, implement and evaluate health programs at work; plan and administer financial and human resources effectively in OH services; monitor and consult on legislative and regulatory changes; identify research questions from OEHN practice; and develop policies and procedures, and professional and referral networks that are central to OEH service activities. OEH-NP graduates are also able to diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses in collaboration with other core OEH disciplines.
