Matthew Gribble is a board-certified toxicologist (Diplomate of the American Board of Toxicology) and environmental epidemiologist. His research program supports ocean health, clean water, and environmental justice. Prior to joining UCSF as its inaugural Associate Chief for Research in Occupational, Environmental, and Climate Medicine, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
