Meg is an EH&S specialist for the Department of Occupational Medicine at UCSF. She also serves and an instructor and development team member working with the University of California Center for Occupational and Environmental Health (COEH) Online Ergonomics Education Program. She studied Physical Therapy at Boston University and earned a Masters in Environmental Health Sciences/Ergonomics from UC Berkeley. Meg is a Board Certified Professional Ergonomist.
Amber has worked for the Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) PSW Region since 2006. She expanded her role in 2013 working with LIUNA and the Laborers’ Health and Safety Fund of North America (LHSFNA) as a Tri-Fund Field Coordinator. Her focus with the LHSFNA includes construction worker safety and health, hazard awareness and correction, ergonomics and overall site safety. She previously worked at Cal/OSHA as an inspector in the Oakland District Office, the Chief of the Occupational Lead Poisoning Prevention Program at the CA Dept of Public Health, and prior to that was as an Industrial Hygienist and Safety & Health Specialist at Chevron supporting operations in various parts of the U.S., Central and South America, and Angola, in West Africa.
