Our Mission

To teach students how to design, analyze, and critically interpret epidemiologic studies of workers exposed to a variety of chemical, biological or physical agents. The ultimate goal is to identify workplace hazards and characterize risk in order to protect workers from effects of hazardous exposures at work.

Student Highlights

Students have studied cancer incidence and mortality, as well as heart disease in relation to long term exposure to metalworking
