Human Factors and Ergonomics Program (UCB / UCSF)

This program trains occupational health specialists from the School of Public Health (UCB), the School of Engineering (UCB), and OEM Residents (UCSF) to understand the exposures and mechanisms leading to work related musculoskeletal disorders (WRMSDs).

Targeted Research Training Program (UCB / UCSF / UCD)

This program promotes interdisciplinary research training and provides support for doctoral-level occupational and environmental health research.

Occupational and Environmental Medicine Program (UCSF)

The goal of this program is to advance the field of occupational and environmental medicine through projects regarding mental health and coal miners, COVID-19 in the prison system, respiratory effects from pesticides, and neurodegenerative diseases.

Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology Program (UCB)

This program teaches students how to design, analyze, and critically interpret epidemiologic studies of workers exposed to a variety of chemical, biological or physical agents.
