Measuring air quality

The multiple research opportunities for students include work on faculty research projects, student-initiated projects, and collaborative projects.

These projects are developed by other organizations, including the Occupational Health Branch of the CA Department of Public Health, the UC Berkeley Office of Environmental Health and Safety, the occupational health programs at UCSF, and special projects that arise (e.g., a project evaluating silica exposure in a community ceramics studio). Faculty members have research grants and contracts on which students can participate for independent study credit or as Graduate Student Researchers.
